Men in Ministry
Men look for a place that can provide spiritual growth for their whole family in a church home. Here at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, we provide many programs for men, and their entire families, to grow in Christ.
The Men of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church are active in many different ways. They gather on Wednesday mornings to take care of the church building and its facilities. They hold clean-up days to keep the church looking beautiful. They serve on our Church Council and various committees to help make decisions within the church. Our men teach Sunday School, assist in worship, and are active in outreach ministries to serve those in need.
Wednesday Morning Men's Group
If you are available on Wednesday mornings, “Come and See” what the Men of Our Redeemer are up to. They meet here every Wednesday morning to work on odd jobs that the church needs completed. These projects range from carpentry and painting, to moving furniture and hanging things on walls. They can always use an extra hand, and it is a good way to fellowship with other men.
Other Activities for Men at Our Redeemer
- Join the church choir!
- Teach a Sunday School Class
- Be a volunteer at Lutherlyn Church Camp in the summer
- Participate in Habit for Humanity projects in our area
- Tell a story at Vacation Bible School
- Give the Children's Sermon on Sunday morning
- Help cook pancakes at our Pancake Supper - or any other meals
- Volunteer to mow the lawn at the church for a week in the summer
