The season of Lent began with Ash Wednesday and will end on the Thursday before Easter. During this season, the paraments in the sanctuary are changed to purple, and we focus on reflection and repentance, forgiveness and grace, prayer and giving.

Wednesdays in Lent
February 28, March 6, 13, 20 6:00 Potluck Supper in the Social Hall 7:00 Worship Service in the Sanctuary with Theme: Created for Community Bring your favorite dish to share for dinner, but if you are running late, just grab the kids and feel free to come without a dish! The Worship Service will be around 40 minutes in length. While Lent is a time to pay attention to spiritual disciplines as individuals, it is also a time to deepen our sense of community. Through engagement with scripture and one another we will have the opportunity to hear God’s word not only for ourselves but also for our community and the world.
Collaborative Art Project
Spend a few minutes before, after, or during Wednesday worship weaving a CD for our Lenten collaborative art project! The woven CDs will be joined together to make a banner to be displayed during the Easter season.
